Mixed Sunni (Hanafi, Shafi'i, Maleki, Hanbali) and Shia (Jafari) Muslim Community. Services include congregational Prayers and services, educational Programs, for adults and school age children, youth group and activities, and special events such as weddings and funerals. There is also a weekend school for children ages 5-18. In November 2000, IAWV acquired a section in Graceland Memorial Park, an already established cemetery with perpetual care, to develop the Muslim Cemetery. Graceland Memorial Park is located in an easily accessible and rapidly growing area of South Charleston, off corridor G (Route 119), close to South Ridge shopping center. The Muslim Cemetery is located close to the main entrance and is marked by a prominent plaque.
