Assyakirin Mosque

One of the oldest masjids under the Mosque Building Fund, the original masjid building was opened to the public in 1978. It served the religious needs of Muslims living in the West, specifically in the Jurong area. The masjid was rebuilt to maximize land usage in order to cater to the growing needs of the residents at the neighbourhood. It was reopened on 27 Dec 2002 and can accomodate 6000 worshippers, double the capacity of the older building.
